John over at Brim to the Dregs dealt with this issue on a post last week.
In the light of horrendous national and international events, you almost feel guilty posting about something as seemingly frivolous as wine. But these events serve as a reminder for us to never take for granted the gift of good friends and family, and I think this focus on what is really important in life is very much at the core of the "wine lifestyle".
So I say grab some friends or family, pop open a nice bottle you've been saving for "something special", and be thankful for all that is good in our lives.

Nate - that is so thoughtful! Our prayers are for them and their families.
